Larry is a former coworker who became a good friend from my two years working at Regional News Network’s FiOS1News; my first job out of college! We didn’t work directly with one another, but I got to see how passionate and hard-working he was as a journalist and producer. Not to mention the source of everyone’s laughter!
Knowing my experience as a Site Administrator/Jr. Web Developer at FiOS1, Larry reached out to see if I can help him build his own portfolio website as he was looking to do freelancing on the side. The pandemic steered him in a different direction he didn’t foresee. But as many others did, myself included, he rolled with the punches and saw an opportunity to do his own thing.
Larry needed a platform to display his collective work over the years as a writer, producer, and on-air talent. He had great videos of his commentary and interviews, as well as being the host of Richard French Live on RNN. Along with links to published articles and productions that have been broadcast to millions of people.
We came up with something that was clean, concise, and straight to the point. Breaking up the important facets of his talents to show potential clients what he can offer. You don’t need to be in the industry to understand how competitive and cutthroat it can be. However, Larry now carries an advantage of having his own website to showcase his work and highlight his accomplishments to the NY Market.
